An opinion is a subjective statement. Saying that the earth is flat is not a subjective statement. It is an objective statement, and an incorrect one. Google objective vs subjective. I know that in popular culture an opinion is "whatever somebody happens to think is true", but that's not what it is in real life. Just trying to be helpful here.

That's right, I was using the word opinion as it is used in popular culture, however to say that the Goodfather is better than Transformer 5 can also be an objective statement if I'm not saying is just my opinion, I can say that in a categoric way and i would be right, as the whole cinema theory would support my point and not a single expert would disagree.

Explain the bolded please. What is this whole cinema theory you mention? What you mean by a categoric way? I think you may be confusing better at performing a task with better overall (as in I liked this one better). We could say that the Godfather is a better movie because it conveys meaning to it's audience better. But conveying meaning is just something that is valued by the subject. Another subject might think that more action and explosions make for the better movie, and would just argue that since Transformers 5 has twelve times as explosions it is objectively better. But that subject would be conflating better at showing explosions with better overall (as in I liked this one more).
