You need to wait for 7nm to be ready for chips, and for amd to have its new cpu&gpu ready.

Otherwise you risk your competitor launching a year later, but much cheaper, same or more power in system.

If MS do a PS3 and launch a 600$ system, and then Playstation 5, comes out a year lateron for 400$ and more powerfull... things will go bad.

Wut does any of that have to do with my comment? All I said was if the x1x is profitable, they are gonna make another xbox console... Obviously not right away...

Everything. Profits are tied into hardware.

Xbox One X is the last Microsoft console. They are bowing out of the console business and focusing on windows. If any Xbox fans complain about there not being a next gen Xbox, MS will just point to the XB1X, and say that it's the next gen console.

I believe they will be around for a long time to come.

Microsoft is never going to replace Steam on PC.
