Alyosha! has turned out to be a really good manga.  I mentioned before that it's about a former assassin trying to live as a normal high school girl in Japan but it's a lot more than that.  It has a solid story as well, with the assassination unit that replaced the one she was in trying to hunt her down and targeting her friends in the process.  For the first time in her life, Alyosha is trying to protect people rather than kill them.

The friendship dynamic is the best part.  Alyosha is pretty but expressionless and doesn't know how to be "normal".  The friends she makes all end up being different than the norm in some way or another and outcasts to a degree.  The most interesting one is Katie, a genius teenage FBI agent sent to investigate Alyosha.  She's goofy and kind of stereotypical (she loves anime) but that's because she was treated as special her whole life and doesn't know much about being "normal", either.

I think all the main characters have always been lonely without knowing it.

It's complete at 36 chapters (I'm on ch. 21).  I recommend it.
