It's not all that perverted beyond the usual innuendo.  It's mostly sweet and fluffy.  Aharen-san is a very small girl who speaks very quietly and tends to either be too distant with people or too familiar.  The guy who sits beside her is tall and strong but really good-hearted.  He goes out of his way to make friends with her because she seems isolated, resulting in her latching on to him (literally and figuratively).

It has a nice vibe.

Well, that's good to hear. After reading a few of the manga-ka's works, I thought he was was a big pervert or something, haha. Nothing wrong with that though.
