Yes Vivendi is the one trying to take over Ubisoft. Infogrames doesn't exist anymore, well it does, but its called Atari now.

In fact, I read on gamasutra that there may still be a crowdfunding component to this thing.  That looks very unprofessinoal IMO.  I'd still consider buying one at the right price and with the right games (Moon Patrol, please!) but this will be lucky to give NES Classic a run for it's money now, let alone the big guys.
