I still prefer 1080p, but I'll be moving up to 1440p since G-sync 1080p monitors seem to lack what I'm looking for and the 1440p models do.
Also:
Mankind, in its arrogance and self-delusion, must believe they are the mirrors to God in both their image and their power. If something shatters that mirror, then it must be totally destroyed.
