For you, maybe. For me it's a big deal. The current/upcoming Switch software line-up is already very weak and now rumors are saying even more developers including Nintendo are working on more ports for Switch. This takes up a lot of time and manpower that could be working on new high quality games. Now it will take even longer for Switch to create a unique library. I'm not buying a 320 euro console with last-gen hardware to replay games I've already played for hundreds of hours on the previous console. |
So many things wrong in this post. The current/upcoming Switch software line-up is easily one of strongest for any Nintendo console ever in 1st year (in 1st 10 monts more accurate). Ports doesn't take a lot time and manpower compared to new games, actually ports can be done in few months, new games usually requires 2-3 years. Switch regardles few Wii U ports this year will still have a unique games, Snipperclips, ARMS, Splatoon 2, Mario x Rabbids, Mario Oddysey, Xenoblade 2...reality is that Nintendo is porting only 2 Wii U games this year, MK8D and Pokken Tournament DX, while Zelda BotW is brand new game with dual release.
