I have some Nostalgia games but those only go back to N64 and the numerous NES and SNES games I played via emulator long after the consoles were dead. Even my N64 I only got after the GC was already released^^

The cancer will certainly continue and it's gonna get worse. I already can't even play RL on 60fps anymore. Other games at 60fps should be alright though. And maybe next gen consoles will be able to do that.
