Oh please you know exactly what I mean. Plus it's a way to played ranked battle without having to worry about your rank, the only way to do this in Splatoon 1 was through private battle (Or be S/S+ rank which not everyone is), but finding 7 people is much harder than 3 or just 1.
It's as StarDoor said. The only thing rank might effect is what power level you start at like it did for Splatoon 1's Splatfest.
