Sadly, to prevent ghosting you need a very fast panel, so you have to go with either a TN panel or an IPS/VA one with a very aggressive overdrive, that can cause problems by itself.

At least nowadays there are TN panels that are much better than before, with 8-bit models that can look almost as good as IPS ones... if seen straight (once you turn the monitor or your head... well, it's a TN panel after all).

Current one is a BenQ Gl2460, nabbed back in 2015.

I didn't notice any ghosting until I played Minecraft earleir today. Not the end of the world but it is noticeable.

I'll be ordering a new monitor today and the other parts anyway.

A 2 years old monitor and you're going to replace it. Mine is a Dell U2311H, and the last two numbers label the year of that model.

If you've had that ghosting problem with only one game, maybe the problem is from the game, not the monitor. C'mon, you sould have noticed the ghosting in other fast paced games by now if it was usual.
