Sounds cool. I would go a bit further and made it holographic! Only people having HoloLens could see it!
For the drug smugglers we would have to let them know tho, because those idiots will end up just walking or passing the drug straight throught the virtual "wall" instead of making the effort to throw the stuff over it...
