Here comes the second, and HUGE, part of the news:
Black Desert Online cools off with the Terrmian Waterpark event
http://www.pcgamer.com/black-desert-online-cools-off-with-the-terrmian-waterpark-event/
It’s warm and sunny—not here, of course, because I live in Scotland—so that means it’s time to strip off and hit the nearest beach or waterpark. If that sounds like a nightmare, you could always just stay inside and experience the joys of a digital waterpark during Black Desert Online’s summer event.

http://www.pcgamer.com/her-story-creator-reveals-new-game-will-be-called-telling-lies/
Sam Barlow, the creator of the hit 2015 game Her Story, has revealed that his next game will be another FMV mystery, this time called Telling Lies. Developed in conjunction with indie publisher Annapurna Interactive, the new game will have an "interactive movie format" similar to that of Her Story, according to Variety, but will be bigger, more polished, and possibly even feature Hollywood talent.
Latest Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare patch removes kill trading from public matches
http://www.pcgamer.com/latest-call-of-duty-infinite-warfare-patch-removes-kill-trading-from-public-matches/
"In June of this year, we enabled Kill Trading in public matches," reads today's patch notes. "Doing so gave us the ability to test this feature on a large scale. Since then, we’ve heard a lot of player feedback, and have seen a few unforeseen effects on the Scorestreak system and Hardcore modes, so we’ve decided to remove the feature from public playlists today, Friday, July 14th."
Wondering what the hell is happening in The Evil Within 2? This FAQ will help
http://www.pcgamer.com/wondering-what-the-hell-is-happening-in-the-evil-within-2-this-faq-will-help/
Bethesda released an Evil Within 2 story trailer last month that delves into the sad, sorry history of lead character Sebastian Castellanos. But for people who aren't familiar with the first game, it left one burning question unanswered: "What?" Fortunately for me and everyone else in that boat, Bethesda has come to the rescue with an Evil Within 2 Story FAQ.
That Final Fantasy 14 DDoS attack is still going on
http://www.pcgamer.com/that-final-fantasy-14-ddos-attack-is-still-going-on/
Square Enix reported last month that Final Fantasy 14 was suffering a DDoS attack on its North American data center. The timing of the attack appeared to coincide with the launch of the Stormblood expansion on June 20, and it was a persistent thing, too: It had been underway for the better part of a week when the report when out. And apparently it's still going on.
Tooth and Tail will be out this September
http://www.pcgamer.com/tooth-and-tail-will-be-out-this-september/
The RTS genre isn't in particularly rude health at the moment, so it would be nice if Pocketwatch Games' Tooth and Tail could give it a bit of a shot in the arm. You're probably aware that it's from the developers of Monaco, and takes the form of a "distilled" real-time strategy game featuring cute/murderous little animals, like out of Redwall. Tom Marks got to play some of its single-player campaign back in March, so head here if you're interested in how the "Mario Kart of RTSes" plays.
Bloody stealth-'em-up Serial Cleaner is out now
http://www.pcgamer.com/bloody-stealth-em-up-serial-cleaner-is-out-now/
You know that bit in crime films where, after a messy murder in a particular location, a character will make a call to a 'cleaner' who will tidy things up, no questions asked? You play as that cleaner in the aptly named Serial Cleaner, which asks you to spruce up grisly crime scenes while avoiding the cops. It's a little bit Viscera Cleanup Detail, and a little bit Metal Gear, and the whole thing is set in a bright and jazzy 1970s setting.
Hitman's July update changes combat, Professional Difficulty, and death by toilet
http://www.pcgamer.com/hitmans-july-update-changes-combat-professional-difficulty-and-death-by-toilet/
Hitman's July update has launched on PC, and as updates are apt to do, it tweaks the game in various ways. But before I get into the more serious sections of the release notes, I need to point out the bathroom fix.
Street Fighter 5 getting new classic stage and costumes this month
http://www.pcgamer.com/street-fighter-5-getting-new-classic-stage-and-costumes-this-month/
Street Fighter V is a touch disappointing, especially when compared to previous games in the series, so why not remind yourself of those earlier, happier days? Street Fighter V is adding a stage and three costumes on July 25, and they're all from various parts of Street Fighter's history.
Underrail Expedition footage offers nine minutes of RPG action
http://www.pcgamer.com/underrail-expedition-footage-offers-nine-minutes-of-underground-rpg-action/
You're probably already aware, if you're a CRPG fan, but Underrail—that's the isometric, post-apocalyptic RPG set on and around an underground train network—has an expansion in the works. The Expedition DLC is still subterranean, but features an underground sea you'll be exploring with the aid of jet skis. Also, there are pirates, as the above screenshot entitled 'PiratesOnJetskis.png' illustrates.
Ultimate General: Civil War exits early access
http://www.pcgamer.com/ultimate-general-civil-war-exits-early-access/
Ultimate General: Civil War, available on Steam here, allows you to redo the American Civil War as either a Union or Confederate General, in a huge campaign mode that offers "around 14 grand battles and 24 smaller battles for each side." You can of course also engage in standalone historical battles at key locations including Gettysburg, Cold Harbour, Stones River and several others.
See the first footage of Marvel vs Capcom: Infinite's Jedah in action
http://www.pcgamer.com/see-the-first-footage-of-marvel-vs-capcom-infinites-jedah-in-action/
A little while back, a roster for Marvel vs Capcom Infinite was leaked on NeoGAF, and now, Jedah, one of the Capcom fighters it included has been confirmed. And on top of that, we got to see gameplay of him and the Guardians of the Galaxy's Gamora during some exhibition matches at Evo 2017.
Nidhogg 2 is releasing for PC next month
http://www.pcgamer.com/nidhogg-2-is-releasing-for-pc-next-month/
The sequel to Nidhogg – aptly titled Nidhogg 2 – is a much more colourful and lurid affair than its predecessor. Personally I'm glad for that, because judging by this recent gameplay video it looks beautiful in motion. It won't be long before we'll all get to marvel at its grotesque splendour for ourselves, because the game will release on August 15.
'Soon, you will be able to design your character to a tee,' says PUBG executive producer
http://www.pcgamer.com/soon-you-will-be-able-to-design-your-character-to-a-tee-says-pubg-executive-producer/
In conversation with PvP Live, executive producer Chang Han Kim said: "We plan to give our users much more control over character appearance by implementing Anticto’s Mutable character customization system. Soon, you will be able to design your character to a tee."
Tekken 7 welcomes Fatal Fury star as incoming DLC character
http://www.pcgamer.com/tekken-7-welcomes-fatal-fury-star-as-incoming-dlc-character/
With what is easily one of the worst videogame antagonist names ever known, Fatal Frame's Geese Howard is now heading to Tekken 7—the second guest character to grace Bandai Namco's enduring fighting series, following Street Fighter's Akuma.
>>Hiku has also made a thread about it.
