All I want is a 1080p 144hz IPS, no ghosting, no high ms, 27' (maybe more) and definitely not curved.

It feels like the monitors we keep seeing are those still geared towards a specific group, rather than manufacturers making all types and sorts to cover as many angles possible.

That's because most headlines only comr from a very small number of companies, and they are more geared towards the "gaming crowd" than anything else.

Asus, Acer and AOC (funny that they all start with A) do that, and the looks of their monitors reflect that mentallity. That's why I usually look at Dell first, which has a very wide range of products, and then go with Samsung, BenQ or Viewsonic. I also keep an eye on LG, but their panels end up in the products from other brands, and usually in equal or better products.

Oh, in my case, monitor size is key, because I don't really like big monitors. My main TV is 32", and I don't really understand how people can use something that big as a monitor, let alone those with 40" or even more monsters. I would be perfectly fine with something in the 25" range, and given that I'm using the 100% scaling option in windows on my 23" 1080p monitor, I think I wouldn't have a problem going with a 1440p panel even if that means going with a 150% scaling. I'll never go back to TN after using an IPS panel, but I think I could live with the slightly worse colours but much higher contrast of VA, and with a 10-bit panel, the difference in colours would be minimal if not non-existent. Lastly, I'm fairly safe when it comes to input lag, and I don't need a high refresh rate, 60Hz is fine to me.

What all that means, is that I would be perfectly fine with an VA variant of the Dell U2515H, and if I can have it for less than 350 € then even better.
