VR is a niche market until they can put it in something just a bit bigger than a pair of glasses. In fact even then it is a niche market because its main use case is games, and it is really only appealing for first person games. I mean I guess if it is only a little bigger than a pair of glasses it wouldn't be annoying to play other types of games because you wouldn't be strapping on a big headset. But overall even as a gaming device VR just seems pretty damn niche.
