Otherwise you would only see someone when they are on top of the wall. Or what about people digging a hole. If you couldn't see the other side, people could just walk up to teh wall and start diggin and the U.S. woudl be none the wiser. |
There is such a thing as security cameras. They are used quite often and are rather inexpensive. Plus, I'm pretty sure the wall would have them whether it is transparent or not...
