Looking for game recommendations? Also what region are you from? Until Dawn is free on Ps+ for NA. Hop on it if you have the sub

I'm in US.

I'll of course go through UC4 first. I'm really interested in trying out Until Dawn very soon.

I'm happy to take recommendations! I'm curious to know what PS4's best overall racing game is...

Other titles I'm looking to grab soon are Horizon, Nier, and maybe Shadow of Mordor and Persona 5.

Best racing game or best exclusive racing game? Cuz I think exclusives would just be Driveclub and GT Sport. Driveclub is a truly excellent arcade racer but there aren't many still playing online two years later (it is PACKED with content though and the weather effects are stunning). My own personal recommendation would be DiRT4 (Dirt Rally is simply TOO hard, probably most realistic Rally Sim ever), as i love rally/rally cross but the games are much more unforgiving than the typical racer, depending on how you have it all configured.

Also UC4 is good, I wouldn't waste money on last gen titles though like the UC collection or TLOU yet. See how you feel about U4 first,

NiOh has, legitimately some of the most satisfying combat of any game I've ever played. It's also very challenging. The controls are responsive and your character has good agility however, but there is a stamina bar to keep an eye on. It really is a good game.

Witcher 3 is as complete an RPG as you could hope. Tons of content, a living breathing world, skill tree, augmentations. Great game. The story telling is superb. I'd also recommend Horizon Zero Dawn. It controls better than most other games, let alone most other RPGs. Also has a very interesting theme and of course, it's a technical powerhouse for the PS4. Bloodborne is really good from what I hear as well.

Indies -

Enter The Gungeon

Hyper Light Drifter

Nex Machina

Abzu

and many more... But these are some of the best imho.

i have Persona 5, haven't tried Neir but people rave about it over on NeoGAF. From what I've played of P5, it's very stylish. I haven't put more than a few hours into it though so it's hard to comment beyond that. Also shadow of mordor is about to be usurped by its sequel, you may as well wait for that to launch. I've read that the combat in the first one is stupid easy. Actually, I saw a video of a dude commenting on how easy it is while he was playing it on his PC.... Without looking at the screen. It has some game breaking flaws to the combat system if you figure out how to abuse it. The sequel will definitely fix that.
