Best Buy matched the Prime day deal, and let me use a $40 gift card I had.

$200 USD out the door for the Uncharted 4 slim bundle, including tax. This will be my first Uncharted game.

I have to wait for it to ship a week out from now though.

I've waited for a great price, how the mid-gen refreshes shaped up, and the library to evolve.

Passed on X1 due to lack of compelling exclusives. The prime day X1 bundle technically was a better deal, but I felt way better about the kind of content and experience I'd get on PS4.

Passed on the Pro, because for $150-$200 difference there's a lot of other enjoyment that can be had. Doesn't seem like enough titles make a measurable difference to merit the upgrade.

Still own and love all my Nintendo consoles, but there's an element that PS4 could fill that Nintendo consoles couldn't. You know what I mean.

Greatness Awaits!

I'm currently going between PS4 Pro, Wii (Yes, I said "Wii) and PSTV/VITA, and I barely have much time to game to begin with.  The PS4 Pro is my first PS4, and I've at least sampled most all of my games.  It's a sweet system.  The difference you stated you'd have to paid would make it a hard sell to buy a Pro.  In my case, I paid $340 for the Pro.  So far it's working out for me, and even more so if I had more time to play.
