Is this post a joke?!

The only Sony console worthy of that title was the overrated PS2 just because of its sales, The NES saved the gaming industry in the states, The N64 is a more important console than any of the Sony consoles and one of the most important consoles in the history of console gaming, you need to take off your Sony rose tinted glasses, your PS4 is just an upgraded PS1, and i didn't even have a N64, i had a Playstation.

How exactly is the N64 more important than the PS1? The PS1 practically made the console industry in Europe by itself. Add to that the fact that it spawned IPs such as Grand Theft Auto, Tomb Raider, Crash Bandicoot, Spyro, Gran Turismo, Tekken, Resident Evil etc. It also made JRPGs become mainstream in the west with the huge success of FF7.

Furthermore it popularised the use of shoulder buttons and dual analog controls.

I stated previously why its one of the most important consoles in history, some of you are saying just because this console sold so well and is the best selling console, it deserves the title of the most important console made.

You only had dual analog because of the N64, the SNES had shoulder buttons, Sony added extra ones, not saying Sony does not deserve any credit for that, as it did enhance the gaming experiance, But Nintendo consoles added these key features on their controllers and in games which has guided the gaming industry to where it is today.

You cant just say this is the most important console because it sold well. I agree with your last point on the games, like i said i owned a PS1, does not blind me to the fact that the N64 was a more important console,
