Steam Link, is it worth it wireless?

I'm sort of in the market for a new router as well.  My gaming room and home office (where the router is) share a common wall, but I'll have to run a cable through a total of five-ish rooms to get the proposed future home of the Steam Link.  While both rooms share a common wall, the router is on the opposite of the room.

yeah that's the best option if you don't wanna deal with cables, steam link supports it so compatibility is not a problem.
