"It may not release for more than a year"...he said that in June so it could be 2018 as July-December 2018 is more than 1 year but I highly doubt it. Nintendo probably has 2018 nearly accounted for in terms of software. I'm sure we'll see what Retro is working on, Kirby, Yoshi, Animal Crossing and a ton of surprises in 2018. Pokemon can and probably will wait.
