I'll give the GC Smash (though N64 started it) and Metroid but N64 was much more influential on gaming (in some ways more than the PS1) and the fact that its games are still played today is a testament to Nintendo. GC had a nice library but was at the time the worst console Nintendo ever released, even though it's appreciated for many things such as its wonderful controller, but it was the console that put Nintendo into a shell of its former self.

It is a luxury when doing comparisons because nostalgia impacts how it is looked back on heavily, GC flat out has a better library than N64 overall, it just has more to offer in it but because the N64 had games that were influential that itself can inflate people's views of it, the droughts with the N64 were even worse than GCN as praised as the N64's impact is to gaming it's the platform were Nintendo lost market leadership following the force that was the SNES.
Want an example name an equivalent N64 has to games like Tales of Symphonia, Twin Snakes, Baten Kaitos, PSO, Skies of Arcadia, Capcom vs SNK, Viewtiful Joe etc... You'll have a hard time just trying to come up with a JRPG for N64 because of all the Nintendo platforms it had the least amount of third party support until the Wii U, GCN can at least hold up a library that has answers to the library of the competition.
