I think PC is getting those games because console architecture are becoming similar to the PC's now so porting is easy. I don't doubt for a second that if consoles were to disappear, all that would left for PC gamers to play would be MOBAs, MMOs, RTSs and other F2P stuff.

Yeah but we also know that they refuse to release their games on the largest PC games store in the world. It would be like Nintendo refusing to let their games be sold on Amazon, they'd still sell well but they'd definitely sell less than they could...

I doubt people are silly enough to not buy EA games just because it's not on Steam.
