The issue is not the man in question, but rather the issue is CNN. CNN isn't going after him because of the N-Word, but rather they're going after him for a pretty harmless meme. You can view this as karma, but in the end CNN doing what they are doing is just wrong. They aren't threatening to expose his identity for the use of the N-Word, but rather they're threatening to expose his personal life over a joke. That's just wrong.
Freedom of speech allows anyone to say whatever they want, no matter how dumb it may be. Whether or not you may be a white supremacist or communist, you have the right to say what you think. However, this doesn't mean there aren't consequences with whatever you say coming to light. People will see you differently if you show this ridiculous way of thinking. This allows us in crazy examples like this just how wrong this man's way of thinking is. I don't align or agree with anything the man stated. I would be perfectly fine if black people went after him for the things he said, but that is not what is currently happening.
The man isn't a role model by any means, but the attempt to shut down free speech because CNN didn't like a harmless meme is its own separate issue.
