It is true and false at the same time. If you don't pirate the PC games you are basically tied to Steam with the majority of games. So, PC gamers have to live with DRM the same way as console gamers.

Eeeehm, no? You can crack steam games just as fine. You can also buy the game and then just download a cracked copy. And then there is of course GOG which has a large enough library to forego steam altogether.
