It's influencing a new generation of gamer who will learn to not care for individuality and competiton and that creatively can only hurt the industry instead of help it. Honestly, Microsoft did a lot helping with online but the only way they could possibly compete is by buying ips rather than making them. This is why their library is weak. lol no offense but what a load of crap. What industry do you game in? Microsoft has never "won" a gen and there's plenty of creativity and competition and "individuality" in gaming. Though I gotta say, it's funny to see how apparently MS limits individuality by being.... unique.
