Sometimes people really need to take a week or few weeks off from work. I had a lead one time just turn into such an asshole. He was almost about to max out on paid time off (you have to use it or you lose it) so he took about 3 weeks off and I believe went somewhere. The difference between when he left and came back was amazing. He was no longer an ass and he was way more chill.
All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy.
