I recently discovered there is an Open-Source-Engine (vcmi) that allows to play HMM3 on Linux, if you have the game to provide the assets - and well my last weekend was gone. It's a long time since I played it, but it felt great instantly in the moment I started it up. I was fast back in the game and have so much fun. This is indeed a really great game, the age doesn't matter. |
Yeah, completely agree with this. And I dont know, there is something appealing in the game art style.Dont know if its the nostalgia talking, but I just love it.The same works for Starcraft.SC2 artstyle is mediocre in my opinion, for SC is simply great, even to this day, with horrible resolution and all.
My (locked) thread about how difficulty should be a decision for the developers, not the gamers.
