I approve.
He may not be affecting society with legislation(due to bureaucracy, not the legislation itself) but he is affecting it with social conditioning. The people who despise it won't be affected, but others will learn not to care what people think about them(social media amplified this vice in just a decade), how to stretch your arms out, how to be boastful without feeling guilty, and above all how to be confident in the face of criticism.
