Halftime in 2017 and there is no slowdown in criminal violence. One would assume that the gangs would die by attrition soon, but not today. More than 1800 people got shot in the first six months, that is ~10 per day.
In 2017 so far:
Shot & Killed: 318
Shot & Wounded: 1496
Total Shot: 1814
Total Homicides: 342
