Yes absolutely.

If I became convinced in the Christian god for instance, I would immediately and radically change my life. If it were proven to me that life is eternal, and I could spend that eternity (minus 30-100 years or so) in paradise or in torment, I would have to alter my life to meet the criteria for heaven.
