Holy crap, that sound design is amazing! I hope they go more into the horror elements of the Souls game, what a great atmosphere! You know...this has the potential to be somewhat great. Even the design of the characters look alien and badass.
I think the biggest problem in the Souls series was making direct sequels. Dark Souls 2 sucked and even though 3 was cool, it was more like an omage to the Souls series rather than it's own thing. I honestly think making spiritual successors was always the way to go with the Souls series, so now that From Software is done with the Souls series, it's interesting to see all the conceptually and thematically different series coming out. I'm still worried about the quality of this, and i've yet to play much of Nioh yet.
