It depends where you were born in The Netherlands. Fleovoland didn't even exist a 100 years ago.

Also crazy to think The Netherlands fought 80 years for independence and don't even celebrate it! They do celebrate the liberation in 1945 on may 5th so really the country has oly been a sovereign nation for 72 years!

The town I live in now is older than Canada as well, as most towns are anyway. And ofcourse the first nations tribes have been here for at least 12,000 years, some believe much longer than that. Plus parts of the Canadian Shield have been dated back 4.28 billion years. Canada is really very old!
