How many of the 22 million were part of the people who were forced to buy it in the first place? In my early 20's not only did I not need health care, I didn't want it, and couldn't afford it. I was working contract IT jobs a lot. I would have hated to have this forced on me.

"That estimate was the sum of two groups — a Medicaid group totalling 15 million people, and the non-group insurance market amounting to 7 million people."

Ok good this is better. Now on the medicaid thing didn't Obama make some changes making it easier for people to get on medicaid? I had this one issue where the state of Texas put my daughter on medicaid when I was perfectly capable of paying for her insurance. Instead of the OAG sending a letter to my job forcing them to add my daughter to the insurance plan mid year they decided to just put her on medicaid.

I like medcaid and we do need it but we need to be careful were not making it so accessible that's it's easy to abuse.
