I really don't see the issue here. Coming off as neutral as possible, the only two "major" audiences that the Xbox One X will appeal to are the most committed Xbox fanboy and tech geeks both having money to burn. And then you have pockets of people here and there for whatever reasons which I doubt will amount to any significant support. That's not to say I wish doom to the X from a sales point. But if there's any kind of peer pressure, I don't see it being there.

In regards to specs when compared to the PS4 Pro, I just don't see the Xbox One X worth it. I also fathom it being hard for PS4 vanilla owners to upgrade to a Pro depending on your set up and financial situation. The PS4 pro was my first PS4 console. It was a no-brainier pricewise over the vanilla PS4 due to both the extra hard drive space and a slight up-tick in graphics on my 1080p set. Would I have chose the X over the Pro for just a $100 more if I hadn't bought the Pro? Absolutely not because of the 1st/2nd PlayStation support. But for me to buy the Pro or the X for 4K visuals just isn't worth it to me at this point. I implied early that my Pro purchase wasn't about the 4K. So having to buy a new 4K set and compatible a/v receiver would require a huge financial cost that would serve as a "bonus" for the PS4 Pro. Would I buy an X then? Still no. Having to pay $500 on top of buying a new 4K set and a new a/v receiver isn't worth the minute upgrade for multi-platform game while there are NO new Microsoft IPs I'm interested in.
