Link throws a Cucco at Sora and Sora mistakenly slashes it. Goofy survives the ensuing slaughter but just barely and is mentally destroyed from the horror he just witnessed. He buries the few remains of his friends that he could find and lives out the rest of his days in a shack with Pluto dreaming only nightmares of Cuccos each night.
