This tax doesn't attack anyone. It's probably in effect to steer people away from obesity and unhealthy life choices by incentevising, natural non-articficially sweetend juices and tees as well as water over sodas and all that crap that rots your teeth away and gives you a heart attack by 50.

It sucks that your store is right on the border and that you might loose buisness because it isn't a nationwide law, but it isn't neccissarily a bad law.

I agree it doesn't attack anyone per se, but its a scam. This won't affect health because people will still consume shit food and sugary snacks, the sales of that stuff will likely go up. Maybe people will make their own high sugar drinks to save money, like Kool-aid or other flavor powder.

The only affective way to improve health among the people is to give incentives for living healthy lifestyles. Such as lower health insurance premiums.

So again, this is a scam to raise tax revenue. Its still not giving people an incentive to being healthier.

I know that the left is super evil and stuff, but has anything similar ever been implemented to be able to tell whether people will just buy more sugary snacks isntead?
