Actually, there is not.  The "depth" they offer is a mixture of conjecture, illogical conclusions, baseless presuppositions and a hope that their followers are too stupid to know better.

Occam's razor and the scientific method.  They fully ignore both.

I'd describe it as a selective use of physics; when a facet of the flat earth model coexists within the existing framework of physics, they make it apparent.  However, they conveniently avoid any collisions.  For example, if there is truely a universal acceleration of 9.8 m/s^2 then how do we explain the small weight differences between a person on earth and that same person in an airplane at cruising altitude?
