I actually agree with him, I don't think there's a meaningful audience to make the jump to 4k. And, well, I don't see the point tbh. Nintendo is doing their own thing, so I don't see why they have to compete with Sony or MS in this "power war", so to speak. If they manage to have a strong first party output, and the usual handheld third party support, I don't see the Switch failing. I actually think it will be a sucess, despite powah.

Also, I think Nintendo is now really comfortable with HD development, obviously, so we're seeing pretty ambitious games from Nintendo. Odyssey and before BOTW show this. I don't think there's a rush to the 4k jump nowadays. I don't really think it'll bring something meaningful or new to the table.
