I mean, it would be great but the licensing these 3rd party games would cost way too much for Ninty in the end(that's probably why we didn't get Chrono Trigger btw), but the librairy is still way more robbust than the NES imo. + we get one unreleased game !

Ok, if licensing issues are such a big deal that they can't get more than 21, then this system should still not be as expensive as it is. $80? My ass. It's like Nintendo forgot about piracy, even though they had taken down a lot of ROMs recently.

The reason the console is $80...

-2 controllers

-Starfox 2 (retail release)

-some games still expensive in digital form (Secret of Mana $8, Final Fantasy III $15, etc.)

-licenses for the third party games

If Nintendo and other game developers all had big dedicated teams just for piracy the file being distributed would be tried to get taken down as often as possible or those sites get a DMCA letter if located in the US. Nintendo isn't factoring piracy into the price of the SNES Classic because they know they cannot completely contain it and piracy shouldn't factor into prices, along with many people still want stuff to be legit and authentic.
