Tegra X3 will be far more powerful than that. A X3 is probably beyond a PS4 (2 TFLOPS+). Tegra X1 - 500 GFLOPS (FP32) Tegra X2 - 1 TFLOP (FP32) Tegra X3 - 2TFLOP+ Such a chip would run all Switch games in 1080p/60 with ease and many/most in 4K or checkerboard 4K no problem. |
Tegra X1 is actually up to 500 GFLOPS with majority sticking to 393 GFLOPS @ 10W due to chip process limitation.
Tegra X2 is 750 GLOPS FP32 @15W
Tegra X3 is presumed 1TF FP32 @20W and this is the likely/realistic configuration for a device that is small form factor.
Edit: X3 is very capable on paper, I know. But the standard should be 1080p60. CPU is anywhere 3.5-4.0x the Switch, with GPU about 2.5x.
