Part two of the news:

http://www.pcgamer.com/forza-motorsport-7-studio-turn-10-is-learning-how-to-become-pc-developers/
Microsoft announced at its E3 show that the upcoming racing sim Forza Motorsport 7 will be released for Windows 10 as well as the Xbox One, with a new dynamic weather system and "pretty new lighting effects," as James put it. In a video posted more recently by Nvidia, Turn 10 Studios executive producer Ryan Cooper talked a bit about how the new features will be realized on the PC, saying that "it's all about the details."

Wonderful point-and-click adventure Machinarium has been rebuilt with hi-res support and more
http://www.pcgamer.com/wonderful-point-and-click-adventure-machinarium-has-been-rebuilt-with-hi-res-support-and-more/
Machinarium, the point-and-click adventure about a bug-eyed robot named Josef and his girlfriend Berta, was originally released in 2009 and is very good—in fact, it was the game that hooked me on Amanita Design's later work, including Botanicula and Samorost 3. But it hasn't aged particularly well, mainly because it was built using Adobe Flash. So Amanita has updated it with a completely redone "Definitive Version" that's now available on Steam.
Scanner Sombre VR mode now available in beta
http://www.pcgamer.com/scanner-sombre-vr-mode-now-available-in-beta/
Scanner Sombre, as it turns out, hasn't sold very well, at least compared to Introversion's previous game: the 2-million-copies-sold-and-counting Prison Architect. By comparison, the developer's first-person cave-mapping game Scanner Sombre has only rustled up around 6,000, or in the words of Introversion's Chris Delay, "It's bombed".
Secret World Legends is available to play now
http://www.pcgamer.com/secret-world-legends-is-available-to-play-now/
Funcom's innovative, real-world-ish MMO The Secret World relaunches as the free-to-play Secret World Legends on Monday June 26, at least officially. A 'head start' weekend is taking place right now, a weekend that was originally just going to be open to beta testers and owners of the original game, but that is now open to all (yes, including you, Steve). What I'm saying is that The Secret World Legends has launched a little early, and you can sign up here.
Newly free-to-play Battleborn gets new PVP mode
http://www.pcgamer.com/newly-free-to-play-battleborn-gets-new-pvp-mode/
All of Battleborn's competitive multiplayer modes and maps recently went free-to-play, but developer Gearbox Software has shown that it won't stop there. The shooter recently introduced a new PVP option, which mixes parts of the Meltdown and Capture modes.
Rhythm platformer 140 adds new level in free update
http://www.pcgamer.com/rhythm-platformer-140-adds-new-level-in-free-update/
Jeppe Carlsen's rhythmic platformer 140 has just received a free update, around four years after the game came out. The update adds a new, "expansive" fourth level that features "original mechanics and a new boss fight", and that's not bad at all for the price of free. But the update bungs in a few other features, including cloud saving, trading cards, "less input lag and improved player character physics", and those are all nice things to have too.
Quake Champions will run through Steam, id Software confirms
http://www.pcgamer.com/quake-champions-will-run-through-steam-id-software-confirms/
In an audience Q&A blog published last week, an id Software spokesperson confirmed that Quake Champions will run through Steam. That might not seem revelatory, but since the current beta launches exclusively through Bethesda.net, many had suspected the final game would too.
Overwatch's PTR suggests that patch 1.13 may usher in Doomfist

Doomfist is coming to Overwatch eventually – that much is certain. The ongoing dilemma among the game's hardcore is the question of when. But it looks like we may be closer to the answer than ever, because a crashlog for the current Public Test Region (which is running the game with the still-forthcoming 1.13 patch), references both Doomfist and "Summer Games".
We Happy Few schedules 'bigger and better' Joy update for August

Despite its somewhat slow Early Access start, Compulsion Games' Aldous Huxley-esque We Happy Few has spent the past several months working towards full release by introducing new areas and playstyle options. A new devblog has outlined where the survival horror game is headed next.
