.hack//G.U. Last Recode PS4/PC Remaster Gets Tons of Screenshots Comparing PS4 vs PS2 Graphics

Bandai Namco exposes the differences between the PS2 version of .hack//G.U. and its remaster for PS4 and PC.

Bandai Namco Entertainment released a large batch of screenshots of the upcoming remaster of the classic JRPG series .hack//G.U., titled .hack//G.U. Last Recode.

First of all, we get a comparison between P2 and PS4/PC graphics, showing off the improvements. You can see it below, with PS2 visuals first, followed by the remaster in each pair of screenshots.

The screen resolution has been increased to 1080p, with support for 4K output, frame rate has been upped to 60 FPS, and even cinematics are in high resolution (excluding in some modes). Beckground textures also benefit in increasing resolution, while the UI has been redesigned to fit. Anti-aliasing has been added to improve polygon’s edges, and shadows have been redone in high definition, as you can see in the screenshots below.
