Don't forget: Science has been wrong about a ton of stuff as well.  People have died because of scientific beliefs that turned out to be untrue.

I'm pretty sure about a thousand times more people died because of unscientific stuff that isn't true. Letting obvious misconceptions stand is the main cause of suffering today and at any point in history.

It starts small with flat earthers and then ends with ISIS and President Donald Trump.
