It's a shame Evolution studios never got to make a proper pro patch, both for the normal and VR version. Since the 60fps conversion was already done, it should have been little trouble putting all the detail back and have at least a 1080p60 patch for the pro, perhaps even 1440p60.
Same for GT Sport and Forza 7. If they weren't concentrating on reaching 4K resolution, the detail could be much enhanced for a 1080p60 version and they would have a real chance at improving on DC's dynamic weather and lighting. But oh well, 4k is easier to make and sell. We'll have to wait until next gen for more dynamic racing. This gen feels like a standstill. GT Sport is even regressing when it comes to dynamic lighting and weather.
