I understand because if you can't even swallow then that is a sign that perhaps you are done for this world. I believe it took him a few days to die which probably sucked. I'm sorry, that's terrible. :c I fear the same might happen with my grandfather who has alzheimer and is getting worse each day (he's 92 and will soon turn 93). Physically he's very well, he even exercises... but mentally it's a different story. The only people that he remembers are me, my grandmother and my aunt. He completely forgot about his sons, for example. That's so crazy to me, I wonder how things will go down. :c
