Let's go with part two of the news:

Paradox Interactive rolls back its price increases, will give refunds to purchasers
http://www.pcgamer.com/paradox-interactive-rolls-back-its-price-increases-will-give-refunds-to-purchasers/
In a message posted earlier this week, Paradox CEO Fredrik Wester apologized for the poor communication and timing of the changes and promised that in the future, "We will do our best to ensure that our community is better informed, that we have a better process for rolling out changes, and that the only surprises you get from us are of the pleasant kind." At the same time, he said, "We stand by our new prices."
Today, however, the situation has changed. In a new statement, Wester said that after spending a day reading comments, feedback, and email, he has decided that you were right and he was wrong—and because of that, he's decided to roll back all the increases.

Hearthstone changing card packs so you'll never get duplicate legendaries
http://www.pcgamer.com/hearthstone-changing-card-packs-so-youll-never-get-duplicate-legendaries/
There's nothing worse than seeing that shimmering golden glow under a card in a Hearthstone pack, only to flip it over and see it's your fourth copy of Millhouse Manastorm. Thankfully, Blizzard is making that feeling a thing of the past. Starting with the next expansion, you will never open a copy of a legendary card you already have.

You can now save your Overwatch highlights
http://www.pcgamer.com/you-can-now-save-your-overwatch-highlights/
Blizzard's Jeff Kaplan has revealed that Overwatch's highlight system is being overhauled—a feature that has been frequently requested since the game's launch. Until now, Overwatch would automatically save a handful of highlights—awesome moments and plays of the game from your last five matches—but those clips would be lost if you logged out of the game.

Overwatch loot box duplicates are being 'drastically' reduced
http://www.pcgamer.com/overwatch-loot-box-duplicates-are-being-drastically-reduced/
It's not much fun to bust open an Overwatch loot box and find a bunch of stuff inside that you've already got. You get some compensation for it in the form of in-game credits, but it's like getting socks for Christmas: Sure, they're useful, but it's still a drag. So Blizzard is making changes to the system that will "drastically reduce" the number of duplicates that players encounter when the pop a box.

Gigantic, the free-to-play hero shooter, will officially launch next month
http://www.pcgamer.com/gigantic-the-free-to-play-hero-shooter-will-officially-launch-next-month/
Ah, Gigantic. One of those colourful, approachable, charismatic "hero shooters" tasked with the unenviable struggle of competing with Overwatch. It will commence doing so officially come July 20, because that's when the game will officially launch on Steam.

This survival game has no zombies or monsters, and also you're Henry David Thoreau
http://www.pcgamer.com/this-survival-game-has-no-zombies-or-monsters-and-also-youre-henry-david-thoreau/
Weary, hungry, and alone in a dark forest in the middle of the night, I lift my lantern to illuminate a half-built shack. It's certainly nothing I haven't done in other games before, but there's nothing spooky about this, even though the image above may look that way. I'm playing Walden, a new entry in the Early Access survival genre, and a game in which you play as essayist and philosopher Henry David Thoreau. Thoreau spent two years in the wilderness around Walden Pond, as he put it, because he "wished to live deliberately." Now, you can too.

Titanfall 2's next update introduces another map from the first game
http://www.pcgamer.com/titanfall-2s-next-update-introduces-another-map-from-the-first-game/
Titanfall 2's next update is set to launch on June 27, and in keeping with previous updates it will introduce a map from the previous game. The War Games map was a DLC-only map in the first Titanfall, but it was also among the most visually striking, with its mix of steely architecture and fluorescent-hued gridded walls.

Thimbleweed Park gets a hint system and player character dialogues
http://www.pcgamer.com/thimbleweed-park-gets-a-hint-system-and-player-character-dialogues/
Thimbleweed Park—the Ron Gilbert-crafted, retro-inspired point-and-clicker than Andy billed as a "quality adventure game with challenging puzzles, oddball characters, and an intriguing, mystery-laden plot"—has been updated. Alongside "several" minor additions, as told by Mr Gilbert himself, the update brings with it two "major" ones by way of a new hint system and player character dialogues.

Farming Simulator 17 to get sugarcane farms and new tractors in 'Platinum Expansion'
http://www.pcgamer.com/farming-simulator-17-to-get-sugar-cane-farms-and-new-tractors-in-platinum-expansion/
As part of the Platinum Expansion (or separate Platinum Edition for those who don't already own the base game), Farming Simulator 17 plans to give players "the most complete experience" by introducing sugarcane farms and a sugarcane harvester, new South American farmland complete with "unique" vegetation, a railway network, and, apparently, local cows.
