No i dont only play narrative driven games, that being said i think there is a point to be made that games can be narrative driven and still be COMPLETELY different, so the whole

"homogenise all of Sony's franchises into The Last of Us like games"

Is something i cant agree with, though i can see your concern because of the similarties between the new GOW and TLOU, however do keep in mind that games can have a narrative / be narrative driven while also being completely different from one another, to make an example TLOU, InFamous, and Horizon are all Narrative driven games and yet they couldnt be more different (each one even belongs to a different genre).

Plus Sony doesnt just make narrative driven games, Gran Turismo, The Last Guardian, and Bloodborne (yeah i get it that last one ain exactly first party but its one of their exclusive offerings and they own it) are not exactly narrative driven.

God of War was always about both gameplay and narrative too. God of War isn't the issue I'm specifically talking about, Santa Monica knows how to nail both story and gameplay.

Its the other developers that I have my doubts about. Also like I said I like a variety of games.

This statements irks me, not PS4's upcoming lineup of exclusives, which I think looks great. However if Jim's views on this are being echoed throughout Sony at this time it could lead to homogenisation in the future. That is the problem here.

And what devs / studios from Sony do you doubt from?

I only had concerns for Guerrilla games but they proved me wrong since Horizon ended up being great (hope they keep that up), and the only other studio i have doubts with are Japan Studio because they seem to be hit and miss sometimes, for example Gravity Rush is great but the first Knack wasnt so hot... that being said the sequel looks better.
