I actually spent most of my time in online games, Hearthstone, Starcraft 2, Total War etc
Even in Single player games I generally play more games with less of a story and more a gameplay focus like again Total War or Civilization or Mount and Blade, Forza Horizon I can play them for 1000s of hours.
I do like narative games I loved The Last of Us and some of the Telltale games but its more an exception then the norm. I did like Bloodborne and Nioh a lot altough they are not from the first party studio's I have always found microsoft to be heading in a better direction I play horde mode in Gears 4 all the time and still play Forza Horizon 3 but people seem to like what Sony is doing more so my exception deffenitely isn't the rule.
Anyway, I think they are making more narrative games then I personally want to play but there is enough other games to hold my attention so it doesn't matter.
