It´s so tough when we want to have to consoles but we can just afford one.... isn´t it?
Well... the game lineup for the Switch is really promising.... if you like Nintendo franchises, local multiplayer, Jrpgs and indie games, then buying the Switch is a great choice. And, as a plus, it can be played anywhere and games don´t require installation.
But... if you really like Western action games, FPS and Fighting games, then the PS4 would be a better choice. Games require installation and that sometimes can be annoying when your game collection start to grow.... but the game library is fabulous, there are games for everyone and you can enjoy a good amount of Jrpgs too.
I don´t know exactly what your gaming tastes are like, but as an owner of PS4 and WiiU, and a longtime Nintendo enthusiast, I think it would be better to get a PS4 now and wait a few months until the Switch get more games (and, of course, when you feel able to afford a second console)
P.S... Persona 5 is an excellent game well worth the investiment.
