I'm saying an equally performing PC should be cheaper considering the lack of engineering put into it to fit into a small compact box like althe XoX.... So calling a XoX expensive by any metric is just mainstreamer retard talk... Perception or consumer choices does not equate to truth....

False.
An equally performing PC should actually be more expensive.

You see... Consoles use consolidated hardware, the GPU is a part of the CPU, the memory controller is on the same chip feeding both...
There are no massive split memory pools or power delivery mechanisms.
There is no need for redundant ports and interconnects like Firewire, PCI-E Slots, extra Ram slots etc'.

Plus the PC tends to use large, multiple, transistor heavy chips on cutting edge frabrication process's which adds up to the costs.

So no. An equally performing PC should always be more expensive than a Console. It actually has more engineering put into it and the platform as a whole can do more and is compatible with more componentry.

The Xbox One X is expensive relative to it's competition. That literally cannot be denied.
Microsoft marketed it as a "True 4k" device when it blatantly isn't, it's only mid-range/low-end hardware.
There are no exclusives.

That is the truth.

I'll still be getting Scorpio, price isn't a big issue for me. I'm on the waiting list to get in the first wave of Pre-Orders, I'm not under any illusions on how anemic Scorpio's hardware is though.
Also have the Original Xbox, Xbox 360 and Xbox One and several hundred games. Being a vocal criticizer isn't a bad thing you know.
